ASSEMBLER – 1ST SHIFT
Location: Cascade, IA
A premier manufacturing company in Cascade, IA is looking for dependable and motivated Assemblers to join their team on 1st shift! This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door with a growing company and potentially transition into a permanent position.
Responsibilities
- Assemble products and components according to established instructions and specifications
- Use basic hand tools and equipment as needed
- Read and follow work instructions
- Perform basic measurements and quality checks
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including loading, unloading, and moving materials
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy
- Prepare products and materials for shipment
- Organize and maintain inventory and materials in designated areas
- Perform some heavy lifting and physical material handling as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Work safely and effectively as part of a team
- Meet production and quality standards
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing or assembly experience preferred
- Shipping/receiving experience is a plus
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Good math and measuring skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable and dependable attendance
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely
- Ability to lift and move heavier materials as needed
- Willingness to learn and take on new tasks
