Position Summary
A local employer is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to support the reliability and performance of production equipment within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This hands-on role is ideal for individuals with strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting abilities and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on die cast and manufacturing equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical controls, hydraulic systems, and mechanical components
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions and complete timely, effective repairs
- Read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics
- Safely use electrical testing equipment, hand tools, and power tools
- Support equipment uptime and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment
- Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of industrial maintenance experience or equivalent technical education
- Working knowledge of hydraulics, electrical systems, and mechanical troubleshooting
- Ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics
- Experience using diagnostic and testing equipment
- Strong attendance record and ability to work independently
- Effective communication skills and team-oriented mindset
- Commitment to workplace safety
- PLC troubleshooting or programming experience is a plus
