Up to $23 / hour
Seeking a Residential Services Supervisor to oversee residential services and support staff who provide care and assistance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This position provides hands-on leadership, staff training, scheduling support, documentation oversight, and ensures homes meet health, safety, licensing, and regulatory requirements. This is a direct hire opportunity, meaning the right fit candidate will go directly onto the hiring comapny's payroll and be eligible for the company provided benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support Direct Support Professionals (DSPs)
- Provide hands-on training, coaching, and feedback to staff
- Monitor residential programs and ensure quality service delivery
- Assist with scheduling and filling open shifts
- Complete payroll and employee evaluations
- Maintain required documentation and records
- Monitor staff training and compliance requirements
- Ensure health, safety, meal, hygiene, and household standards are maintained
- Participate in individual planning and house/program meetings
- Communicate with families, guardians, medical professionals, and other stakeholders
- Participate in an on-call rotation
- Assist with medical appointments and community activities as needed
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Associate degree in Human Services, Management, Education, or a related field or 5 years of similar experience
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience
- Strong computer and Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Basic understanding of budgeting
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
Preferred: Bachelor's degree in a related field and experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. CPR/First Aid, Mandatory Reporter, CPI, or Medication Aide/Manager certification is a plus.
