CDL-B Delivery Driver

Typical Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7am to 3:30pm

Summary:
Seeking local CDL-B drivers to deliver liquid propane to residential and commercial customers throughout Northeast Iowa. This is a direct hire opportunity—qualified candidates will be placed directly on the hiring company’s payroll and be eligible for benefits. This is a local position—candidates must reside in or near the NE Iowa area. Home daily. Overtime and extended hours on Saturday mornings may be required during peak winter season.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a tanker truck to deliver propane to customer locations
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and follow all DOT safety regulations
- Load/unload propane and handle delivery equipment (hoses, meters, etc.)
- Provide professional, customer-focused service during deliveries
- Maintain clean equipment and accurate delivery records
Requirements:
- Valid Class B CDL with HazMat & Tanker endorsements required
- Clean driving record
- Prior propane or fuel delivery experience preferred
- Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions
- Must pass DOT physical and drug screening
