Vibrate Operator- 2nd shift Dubuque, IA


VIBRATE OPERATOR
HOURS: 2ND SHIFT 3:15P-11:15P IF ON OT TO 1:15AM
WAGE: $20.20 + SHIFT DIFF $1.25
 
Key Duties
  • Operate and monitor industrial vibrating or stamping equipment during production runs 
  • Load raw materials into machines (metal sheets, parts, or stock material) 
  • Remove finished parts and check for quality defects 
  • Adjust machine settings for speed, pressure, or vibration levels 
  • Perform routine inspections during production to ensure parts meet specifications 
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area around machinery 
  • Report equipment issues or production defects to supervisors 
  • Follow all safety procedures (PPE, lockout/tagout rules, machine guarding) 
Physical Requirements
  • Standing for long periods (often entire shift) 
  • Repetitive hand/arm movement 
  • Lifting materials (commonly up to 40–50 lbs) 
  • Working in loud industrial environments 
Skills & Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred 
  • Ability to operate industrial machinery safely 
  • Attention to detail for quality inspection 
  • Basic mechanical aptitude (adjusting and troubleshooting machines) 
  • Reliability and ability to work in shift-based schedules (1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift)
