Position Summary
We’re seeking a dependable, hands-on Blender Operator to operate blending and material-handling equipment, support daily production, and ensure products are blended, loaded, and handled safely and accurately.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor blending and production equipment using control panels and established procedures.
- Load and unload raw materials and finished products from trucks and railcars as assigned.
- Follow blend sheets and production instructions to meet product specifications.
- Perform basic equipment inspections, cleaning, housekeeping, and preventive maintenance; assist the maintenance team as needed.
- Record production information and complete required documentation.
- Communicate production needs, equipment issues, and material requirements with supervisors and coworkers.
- Follow all safety, environmental, regulatory, and company requirements.
Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Manufacturing, blending, production, or equipment-operation experience preferred.
- Ability to lift and move up to 75–100 pounds safely.
- Ability to stand, walk, and work in varying temperatures, humidity, and industrial noise while wearing required PPE, including possible respiratory protection.
