Sedona Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Office Administrator / Accountant to support daily financial and administrative operations for a client in the Independence area. This role requires strong accounting fundamentals, excellent Excel skills, and experience handling ACH transactions, inventory reporting, and payroll. The ideal candidate is organized, accurate, and comfortable working independently while supporting a growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including ACH payments and collections
Maintain and analyze Excel spreadsheets for financial reporting and operational tracking
Pull and analyze inventory usage reports to support purchasing and operational decisions
Process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with company policies
Assist with month-end and year-end accounting tasks as needed
Maintain organized records and documentation
Provide general office and administrative support as required
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, spreadsheets, data analysis)
Experience with ACH payables and receivables
Knowledge of inventory usage tracking and reporting
Payroll processing experience
Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
